1. Do I have to pay for your services?
No, you will interact with Seller directly. Seller will cover fees and you are free of charge as domain buyers.
2.What does mini offer mean?
The mini offer represent the minimum offer you can place on a domain. The seller has set this minimum price to avoid getting offers below a specific price point. As a buyer, you can't place an offer below the starting price of a seller.
3.What payment provider do you use?
We currently support Stripe (major credit cards and banks supported), Escrow.com (major credit cards and banks supported) and Dan.com (Cryptocurrency supported) for sellers. So it will depends on which providers your seller has been set up.
4.I have paid for a domain name, what happens next?
After we’ve secured your payment, we will notify your seller to start the domain name transfer process. You can also contact your seller directly from our Buyer Domain Control Center.
Please keep in mind that every domain extension and registrar has different processes. Our guarantee, however, is that we will at all times propose the easiest and most convenient transfer process possible.
Follow the instructions from your payment processor and you should good to go.
5.I received the authorization code of the domain, what happens next?
Transferring a domain is easy if you’ve done it before. If it’s your first time, the process can be confusing. Each registrar / hosting provider has created different transfer processes.
Do ask for help from your seller or contact us if you have any questions on domain transferring.
6.What are the different payment options?
We support most of the major banks and online payment options like: Bank wire, SEPA, Visa, MasterCard, iDeal, MisterCash, Sofort, PayPal, AliPay, WeChatPay and Bitcoins.
7.Are there any hidden costs, beyond the yearly registration of the domain?
No, we care about transparency and never add any additional fees or costs.
8.How do I know my payment is safe?
Our payment provider Dan.com(with Adyen.com), Stripe or Escrow.com are both industry leading payment processors in the world powering payments for some of the biggest companies like Shopify, Google, Amazon and Notion.
They have a banking license in place required to facilitate 100% safe and secure transactions.
They both also have enabled the highest level of fraud detection systems to avoid any issues on our marketplace.
9.Do I receive a VAT invoice?
If VAT is applicable for your transaction, you will need to contact your seller to provide the invoice for you.
10.I bought and transferred a domain but it's still showing a For Sale page.
This is because the seller configure the domain's DNS for a sale's landing page. Simply head to the registrar where you're managing the domain and change Nameservers from the DNS settings with your own site.
11.Are all offers I place binding?
Yes, all confirmed offers on our platform are legally binding.
12.Can seller also push a domain instead of transferring?
Yes, we actually prefer doing a push as that's the faster way for buyers to take control of a newly acquired domain.
13.How long is my offer valid?
Every offer is valid for a duration of 7 days.
14.How does buying a domain in installments (LTO) work?
After securing the first installment payment from the buyer, Dan.com will ask the seller to transfer the domain from the seller’s registrar to Dan's escrow account and give the buyer access to the DNS control panel of the domain. The domain will be managed and renewed by Dan's escrow account and until the full purchase price is paid for. Once all payments are secured, the actual ownership transfer will occur and we will transfer the domain to you.
15.Are all prices including or excluding VAT?
VAT is only applicable for specific transactions involving European buyers. If you or your company is not based in Europe, you will never be charged any VAT at all.
